Top 10 Greatest Movies of All-Time Bar None

1.      Shawshank Redemption – I seen this movie for the first time at the movie theater   in Singapore when it first came out. It is the only movie I could watch…watch again….then watch a third time and not get tired of it, be like… “Damn that was a kick ass movie”  then even after the 3rd time contemplate whether or no I should watch a 4th time and seriously consider it, but wont because I need to go to the bathroom.  No other movie does that to me…that is impressive!

2.      Training Day – Denzel goes off in this movie. It’s a heavy movie so after one go through…your ready to smoke a cigarette.

3.      I am Sam- Sean Penn is a douche bag but does a very good job in this movie.

4.      Heat – De Niro and Pacino at their height. No other explanation needed.

5.      Pulp Fiction – The only movie both black and white people laugh at…albeit at different times.

6.      It’s a Wonderful Life – If you never seen this…why not? Stop what your doing and watch this movie…right now, if your at work, tell your boss you have an emergency that needs to be attended to and go get this movie, then watch it.

7.      Slumdog Millionaire – I’m serious.

8.      Forrest Gump

9.      The Empire Strikes Back

10.  City of God

Movies that deserve an Honorable Mention

  • Batman: The Dark Knight – The ONLY reason to watch this movie is to see The Joker. Normally when somebody says that “such & such” did a good job but now that he/she is dead it’s a tragedy, is usually 100% wrong. This is the only exeption. Ill even go on record to say that this movie would have sucked if it wasn’t for The Joker, or marginal at best.
  • Full Metal Jacket – The Boot Camp Scene.
  • Austin Powers International Man of Mystery – Thanks to my friend Kevin Miller
  • Dumb & Dumber
  • Office Space
  • Castaway – My mom laughed when he lost Wilson, I thought it was sad, I damn near cried…but I cry at odd stuff, so whatever.
  • Donnie Brasco – Seen it for the first time in Korea in a nasty ass theater. Great movie though
  • Menace II Society – My favorite movie as a kid.
  • Goodfellas
  • Ben-Hur
  • 10 Commandments

Honestly there is no need to look at another list these are Top 10 Greatest Movies of All-Time Bar None.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest should be on this list, also Shandlers List. Shawshank Redemption was a good movie. There is no classics like Citizen Kane, why not?
